1. The 48-Hour Cancellation Rule
Your refund eligibility depends on the time remaining before the scheduled event. We follow a strict timeline to respect the chef's schedule and preparation time:
Before 48 Hours
You are eligible for a refund. The final amount will be credited after adjusting GST and Payment Gateway charges.
Within 48 Hours
If the request is made less than 48 hours before the event, refunds are not guaranteed.
2. Non-Refundable Components
When a refund is processed, certain external costs incurred during the transaction are deducted from the total booking amount:
- GST (Goods & Services Tax): Government taxes once paid are non-refundable.
- Gateway Charges: Transaction fees levied by banks or payment providers (e.g., PayTM, PhonePe, GPay).
- Rounding Adjustment: The final refund will be settled to the nearest round-off figure.
3. Modifications & Rescheduling
If you wish to change the date of your booking instead of cancelling, we will make every effort to accommodate your request.
4. Policy Exceptions
We understand that unexpected emergencies occur. Refund requests within the 48-hour window will only be considered under specific circumstances:
- Major medical emergencies (supported by valid documentation).
- Significant service failure from our end.
- Manual approval from the 99KITCHEN management team.
"Refunds after the 48-hour mark are processed strictly at the discretion of management and are not a guaranteed entitlement."
5. Processing Timeline
Once a refund request is approved, the adjusted amount will be credited back to your original payment method within 5 to 7 working days.
